Poblano Peppers
I've always liked the way that Poblano Peppers look when I see them at the grocery stores. However; I've never been able to find either seeds or plants. This year I will try to germinate seeds that came from some of the dried Poblano Peppers that were sold at Wal Mart. Today I planted some of the seeds into starter pots to see if they will germinate.

The seeds haven't germinated. When I planted them, I tried a new experiment. The seeds were planted in potting soil in a standard plastic pot. After watering them thoroughly, I enclosed the pot with shrink wrap to prevent the seeds from drying out. There aren't any signs of mold or fungus so there is still hope that the seeds will germinate.
The seeds are beginning to germinate. This morning there are four or five seedlings starting to grow.
The seedlings are growing. They have not developed any true leaves but they are getting taller and stronger.
